Farmer Production Camp program: The farmers are organized groups know as production camps. The camp is a place smallholder farmers will be meeting to strategies for their crop production, they have plan for each camp member at the camp which will be followed by all the farmers camp members. Among the activities, farmers in the camp will be trained climate smart agriculture techniques, agribusiness, and horticultural production. Community interventions include the following areas: Local chicken production, Post-harvest handling, Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship (Agripreneurship), Gender mainstreaming, Aquaculture, Bee keeping, and Horticulture production. Environment and land resource management projects to build residence of rural communities in adverse of climate change.
Organizing rural communities into economic production groups to increase their participation in economic activities. Facilitating access to income for rural and vulnerable communities through trainings and linkages to financial service providers and formation of community based financial organizations. Facilitating formation of early childhood projects in rural areas Training of poor and vulnerable communities in various income generating projects and facilitates the starting of small-scale projects.
Provision of vocational skills training at CAPP vocational training college to increase employment chances for youth. Both at campus and on outreach. Formal and non-formal Promotion f Small scale businesses by offering business incubation trainings to youth with interest to be self-employees as well as to increase employment chances.
CAPP strives to create community partnership to increase project implementation base. This is done through developing programmes together with grassroots organizations, managing grants and funding to grassroots organizations, building project management capacity of community based organization and fundraising for grassroots organizations. All this is to ensure that the funds benefit the neediest communities.
