Community Action for People Participation (CAPP) is a Malawian non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 2018 and officially registered in 2021 under the Trustees Incorporation Rules (CAP, 503). CAPP operates a non-profit Vocational Training College (VTC) dedicated to supporting the government's goal of job creation through quality vocational training for youth. CAPP Malawi's objectives focus on empowering marginalized communities through five key areas:
CAPP aims to improve food security and increase sustainable food production in rural areas by training communities in climate-smart agriculture techniques. By promoting climate-resilient pathways, we empower communities to adapt to the effects of climate change.
We provide quality vocational skills training for men, women, and youth, ensuring equal opportunities to gain practical skills that enhance employability and foster economic independence.
CAPP strives to improve the health of vulnerable communities by facilitating programs in areas such as HIV and AIDS prevention, TB awareness, nutrition, and access to clean water and sanitation.
By implementing tailored programs, CAPP aims to uplift the social and economic standards of rural communities through income-generating activities, entrepreneurship training, and financial inclusion initiatives.
CAPP builds partnerships with grassroots community-based organizations, enhancing their project management and resource mobilization capacities, ensuring sustainable community development efforts.
